Tree House

The kids favorite gift this year is the tree house that PaPa is building for them. Jason and Steve have helped a lot too. It is not finished yet- but when it is, it will provide hours and hours of entertainment! Yay for me!!!

Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas Eve-we had dinner at NaNa and PaPa's. We watched the Dads do a wiseman skit, and we opened our presents from NaNa. The kids love being with their cousins!

Merry Christmas!

The kids had a great Christmas this year. We received lots of princesses, an electric scooter, a wetsuit, and a new flip video player. We have never seen so much excitement!!

Soccer Fall 2008

The kids had a lot of fun this year- they really got the hang of it towards the last few games. We had a great season, but I'm glad it is over. It was very time consuming. Sports are taken very seriously in the South!

All my kids love the piano- this is a picture from when Grandma came to visit. Maybe they are ready for lessons? I don't know if can bear to sit through all the practicing. Maybe we could fly Grandma out to practice with them on a regular basis??

I realized I don't have any pictures of Steve or I on our blog. Probably because neither of us ever take a very good picture! I decided to put some up anyway. The other picture is of Caroline and Russell's wife Carrie. They are very best friends, and Caroline talks about Carrie all the time!

1st day of school!

Jackson and Caroline both have started school! Jackson is in 1st grade and Caroline is in four year old preschool. They were both very excited, and so was I! Jackson says 1st grade is a lot different than Kindergarten, mostly because now he has homework!!

Family Beach Pictures

Steve's brother Greg and his wife Jessica have been in town for the last ten days. We've had so much fun with them. We all went down to the beach to take some family pictures.

Happy Birthday Samantha

It was so fun to have Samantha's grandparents from Utah with us for her birthday. She loved every second of her party and was so excited to finally have a turn to blow out her candles! She got a new tricycle, a mermaid doll, and Dora doll, new bedding, and a Barbie that sings from her sister Caroline. Lucky Girl!

Sammy

Samantha's favorite spot is right on the counter next to me. She wants to be right there by me all the time to make sure she isn't left out of anything. She is at a very clingy stage right now (I hope it is a stage)- but I don't mind because she makes me smile!

We often found Caroline asleep in very random places throughout the Lake Powell trip. The kids played so much every day they were asking to go to bed!

Lake Powell

Well, I've finally gotten around to putting up some Lake Powell pictures. We have had a lot of family in town and we have been busy! We had a great time at Lake Powell, and the kids are still talking about it.
